I’d suggest putting the Zello app on your smart phone and signing up to the PrepComms UK Zello channel.
Zello is a walkie-talkie app that mimics a 2 way radio. It ‘transmits’ via the interenet and you can chat to other Zello users anywhere in the world. You do not need an Amateur Radio licence to use Zello and it is free.
If you have your own group of people, you can even set up your own private channel.
Install Zello from your app store, sign up (it’s free) and add a channel. Simply scan the QR code below and you are good to go.
